1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Somra ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Somra is an AI-powered email management platform that connects to your Gmail account via OAuth to automatically label, categorize, archive, and draft responses based on rules you define in natural language. Somra can also route email notifications and summaries to your Slack workspace.
3. Account Registration
- You must sign in using a valid Google account.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
4. Authorized Use
By connecting your Gmail account, you authorize Somra to:
- Read your incoming emails to apply your defined AI rules
- Apply Gmail labels to categorized emails
- Archive emails based on your rules
- Create draft replies in your Gmail account
- Read your sent emails for Brand Voice extraction (when you opt in)
You may revoke these permissions at any time through the Somra dashboard or your Google Account settings.
5. User Responsibilities
- You are solely responsible for the AI rules you create and the actions Somra takes based on those rules.
- You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- You agree not to abuse, disrupt, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
- You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated draft responses before sending them.
6. AI-Generated Content
Somra uses OpenAI's models to analyze emails and generate draft responses. AI-generated content may not always be accurate, appropriate, or complete. You acknowledge that:
- Draft responses are suggestions and should be reviewed before sending
- Email categorization may occasionally be inaccurate
- Somra is not liable for any consequences of actions taken by the AI engine
- You are responsible for the final content of any emails sent from your account
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Somra may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.
8. Intellectual Property
The Somra brand, logo, website design, and codebase are the intellectual property of Somra. Your email content and rules remain your property. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Somra and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, email misclassification, unintended email actions, or business losses arising from use of the Service.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting your accounts and deleting your Somra account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
